2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the applicable minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction, to use RoamLens.

By using the App, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and that information you provide to us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

3. The RoamLens Service

RoamLens is a travel companion application that may provide features including:

• Travel information
• Location-based travel functionality
• Travel diaries
• Places Discovery and My List
• Risk Zone Safety information
• Official Notices
• Events and Trip Management
• Regulatory Services information
• Emergency/SOS information and communication tools
• Travel Wallet and expense tracking
• Other travel-related features introduced from time to time

Features may vary by country, device, operating system, account status, permissions, or App version. We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue features at any time where permitted by law.

4. Geographic Availability

RoamLens is operated from Namibia and is initially intended for markets where NOVA TERRA TRADING CC can lawfully provide the App. RoamLens does not intentionally target persons in the European Union or European Economic Area as part of this initial launch.

We may expand the geographic availability of the App in the future. Before intentionally targeting additional markets, we may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and other applicable notices as required.

5. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, RoamLens grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for lawful personal purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the App except as permitted by law
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Circumvent security or access controls
• Interfere with the operation of the App
• Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that places unreasonable load on our systems
• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Misrepresent information obtained from RoamLens as official government information
• Use RoamLens to impersonate another person or organization

6. Account Responsibilities

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• Keeping your account information reasonably accurate
• Taking reasonable steps to protect access to your account
• Notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account except where caused by our failure to maintain appropriate security or otherwise required by law.

7. Location-Based Features

Some RoamLens features use device location. Location accuracy depends on your device, operating system, satellite availability, network conditions, environmental conditions, permissions, battery settings, and other factors.

RoamLens does not guarantee that location information is accurate, complete, current, or continuously available. Location-based notifications may be delayed, inaccurate, or not delivered.

You remain responsible for exercising your own judgment when travelling.

8. Risk Zone Safety

Risk Zone Safety provides general safety information and location-based awareness. Risk-zone information may be derived from government sources, publicly available information, third-party information, internal assessments, or other sources.

RoamLens does not guarantee that:

• Every dangerous area is identified
• A listed area is currently dangerous
• A dangerous area will always be listed
• Risk ratings are accurate
• Notifications will be delivered
• You will avoid harm by following an alert

Risk Zone Safety is not a substitute for official government warnings, local advice, personal judgment, or appropriate safety precautions. RoamLens is not an emergency response service.

9. Places Discovery and My List

Places information may include restaurants, accommodation, landmarks, shops, activities, transport, and other points of interest. Information may include descriptions, images, addresses, contact details, prices, opening hours, external links, or other information supplied by third parties or other sources. Such information may change without notice.

RoamLens does not guarantee:

• Accuracy
• Completeness
• Availability
• Opening hours
• Prices
• Quality
• Safety
• Legality
• Accessibility
• Availability of reservations or tickets

The appearance of a business or place in RoamLens does not constitute an endorsement. Any transaction between you and a listed business is solely between you and that business.

10. Official Notices

RoamLens may display government-issued notices, travel advisories, announcements, and other information. RoamLens is not itself a government agency or official government communication channel. Notices may be obtained from government feeds, public APIs, third-party sources, or other sources.

The official government source always takes precedence over information displayed in RoamLens. RoamLens does not guarantee that:

• Every notice will be displayed
• Notices will be displayed immediately
• Information will remain current
• Notifications will be delivered
• Information will be complete or error-free

Do not rely solely on RoamLens for critical safety, legal, health, immigration, or travel decisions.

11. Events and Trip Management

Event information may be obtained from public sources, tourism organizations, APIs, event sources, or manual curation. RoamLens is not necessarily the organizer, promoter, venue, ticket seller, or booking agent for an event listed in the App. Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, relocated, sold out, or changed without notice.

You should verify event details directly with the organizer or venue before travelling or purchasing tickets. RoamLens does not sell event tickets or guarantee availability unless explicitly stated for a particular service. Third-party ticketing and booking services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Regulatory Services

Regulatory Services provides general informational guidance regarding permits, licences, visas, and similar authorisations. RoamLens is not a government authority, a law firm, an immigration consultancy, a visa agent, or a legal adviser.

The information provided is not legal or immigration advice and does not guarantee approval of an application. Official requirements can change without notice.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information
• Checking current requirements
• Ensuring documents meet official requirements
• Submitting applications
• Paying official fees
• Meeting deadlines
• Complying with applicable laws

You should verify all important information directly with the relevant authority.

13. Documents and Third-Party Applications

Where RoamLens allows you to select or share documents through your device, you are responsible for confirming:

• Which document is being selected
• Which application is receiving it
• Which recipient will receive it
• Whether the information is accurate and appropriate to send

Documents sent through third-party applications may be processed according to those applications' terms and privacy policies.

14. Emergency/SOS Feature

The Emergency/SOS feature is intended to provide convenient access to emergency information and user-initiated communication tools. RoamLens is not an emergency service, dispatch centre, police service, fire service, ambulance service, medical provider, or rescue organization.

The App does not guarantee that:

• An emergency call will connect
• An SMS will be delivered
• A recipient will receive or read an SMS
• A responder will respond
• Emergency numbers are current
• Emergency service information is complete
• Location information is accurate
• A service provider will be available

The user must actively initiate emergency actions. For a life-threatening situation, use the official emergency services available in your location. You are responsible for reviewing emergency messages before sending them.

15. Travel Wallet

Travel Wallet provides expense tracking, budgeting, trip management, and currency-conversion functionality. It is not a bank, a payment processor, an investment service, a financial adviser, a tax adviser, or an accounting service.

Exchange-rate information is provided for informational purposes and may differ from rates applied by financial institutions.

You are responsible for checking financial information before relying on it. RoamLens is not responsible for financial decisions you make based solely on information displayed by the Travel Wallet.

16. Offline Functionality

Certain features are designed to work without an internet connection. Offline functionality may be limited. When offline:

• New information may not be available
• Changes made on another device may not appear
• Synchronization may be delayed
• Notifications may not function as expected
• Data may remain on the device until synchronization occurs

You should not rely on offline functionality as the sole source of critical information.

17. Third-Party Services

RoamLens may rely on or link to third-party services. These may include cloud infrastructure, mapping services, government sources, tourism feeds, event providers, currency-rate providers, email applications, messaging services, booking platforms, and other providers. Third-party services are outside RoamLens's control.

Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. RoamLens is not responsible for third-party service outages, content, accuracy, availability, security, or privacy practices except where required by applicable law.

18. User Content

If you submit information, notes, descriptions, feedback, or other content through RoamLens, you remain responsible for that content. You agree not to submit content that:

• Is unlawful
• Infringes another person's rights
• Contains malicious software
• Is intended to defraud or harm others
• Impersonates another person or organization
• Violates applicable laws

You grant RoamLens the limited rights reasonably necessary to store, process, display, synchronize, and otherwise provide functionality involving content you submit. We do not acquire ownership of your personal content merely because you use the App.

19. Intellectual Property

RoamLens and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the App, including its software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and other proprietary materials, except for content owned by third parties or users.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of RoamLens intellectual property to you.

20. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas concerning RoamLens, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the service without owing you compensation, provided that doing so does not violate applicable law.

21. Prohibited Uses

You may not use RoamLens to:

• Violate any applicable law
• Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
• Harass or harm others
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Circumvent security controls
• Interfere with service availability
• Misrepresent RoamLens information as official government information
• Attempt to extract or reconstruct personal information about other users
• Use the App for fraudulent or deceptive activity

22. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to RoamLens where reasonably necessary to:

• Protect the App or its users
• Prevent abuse or fraud
• Address security concerns
• Comply with law
• Enforce these Terms
• Address serious or repeated violations

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice or process. You may stop using the App at any time. Account and data deletion are addressed in the Privacy Policy.

23. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoamLens is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will:

• Always be available
• Be uninterrupted
• Be error-free
• Be compatible with every device
• Always provide accurate information
• Always synchronize successfully
• Always deliver notifications
• Always provide current travel information

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

24. Travel and Safety Responsibility

Travel involves risks. You are responsible for making your own decisions concerning:

• Personal safety
• Travel routes
• Accommodation
• Transportation
• Immigration requirements
• Government notices
• Health requirements
• Events
• Financial decisions
• Emergency procedures

RoamLens is a supplementary travel tool and should not be your only source of critical information.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoamLens and its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the App. This may include, where legally permitted:

• Travel disruption
• Missed events
• Missed transportation
• Financial loss
• Loss of data
• Reliance on inaccurate information
• Failure of notifications
• Failure of emergency communications
• Location inaccuracies
• Third-party service failures

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

26. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoamLens and its officers, employees, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your unlawful use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of another person's rights
• Your misuse of the App
• Content you submit
• Your failure to comply with applicable laws

This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from RoamLens's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

27. Changes to the Service

We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App. Some features may be introduced, modified, restricted, or removed without notice where permitted by law. We are not required to maintain every feature indefinitely.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the App, website, or another appropriate method. The updated Terms will include a revised Effective Date.

Your continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

29. Governing Law and Disputes

For users who are consumers, nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer-protection rights or protections available under the laws of your jurisdiction.

For disputes involving users who are not protected by mandatory consumer-protection laws, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting: roamlens@outlook.com

The parties will have a reasonable period, ordinarily up to 30 days after written notice of the dispute, to attempt an informal resolution unless urgent legal relief is required.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court or other competent authority having jurisdiction over the dispute.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other interim relief where legally available.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

31. No Waiver

A failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

32. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms presented to you, constitute the agreement governing your use of RoamLens, except where additional terms are expressly provided for a particular service.
